Officer killed, several injured in car bombing, Thailand police say
One police officer was killed and at least 10 others injured after a car bomb explosion in Narathiwat, Thailand, on Tuesday, November 22, local media reported. Provincial Police Region 9, which serves the province of Narathiwat, said on their Facebook account that they had been called to a flat housing police officers around 12:50 pm on Monday. The force said that the explosion came from a pickup truck carrying a car bomb. They said the suspect had been dressed as a police officer. Local media reported that one officer was killed in the explosion. A further 10 were injured the report added, citing the Royal Thai Police.
