Oscar-winning actor Alan Arkin has died, according to an announcement from his family on Friday. He was 89 years old. "Our father was a uniquely talented force of nature, both as an artist and a man," Arkin's sons said in a statement to CNN. "A loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, he was adored and will be deeply missed."
