Two shooting incidents occurred during Rotterdam's Summer Carnival, with the first incident taking place near Beurs on Coolsingel street, and a suspect fleeing the scene. Video posted to social media at 10:06 pm local time shows people running down Hoogstraat away from Coolsingel. Later, near Van Oldenbarneveltplaats, three people were injured in a second shooting, with police firing at the suspect, who was then taken to the hospital.
