People shelter in metro stations as Kyiv hit by Russian strikes

Kyiv residents sheltered in metro stations in the city on Friday, December 16, as Ukrainian officials reported Russian strikes across the country. The city’s mayor, Vitaly Klitschko, said metro traffic in the Ukrainian capital was temporarily halted so the underground stations could work as shelters during the strikes.
