Rep. Clyde: American taxpayers did not save any money in new spending deal
Representative Andrew Clyde (R-GA) says House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) bipartisan spending bill isn’t too far off from former speaker Kevin McCarthy’s spending agreement last year. “In fact, it looks like it’s $70 billion more than what the Financial Responsibility Act, which was signed into law last year, allows,” Rep. Clyde says. “And that’s just, that’s unacceptable.”
