Rep. Davidson slams Tim Walz for misrepresenting military credentials, retiring to avoid deployment

Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) lambasts Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz for misrepresenting his military service and retiring in order to avoid combat deployment. “You don’t accidentally misspeak when you speak about combat. It’s very clear, you either were or were not. And in my case, I wasn’t. I was in lots of units that were in combat, most notably the Ranger Regiment, but I wasn’t personally in combat. And that’s one of the things that really rubs people the wrong way. There are lots of incidents where Tim Walz has claimed that he was in combat,” he says.
