Rep. Donalds: Red flag laws violate constitutional rights

In an interview with NewsNation Wednesday, Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) argued how red flag laws create an unwarranted legal burden on gun owners and violate the constitutional rights of Americans. “The issue with red flag laws is that the U.S. citizen, who somebody thinks might have mental health issues, their property is taken from them…and then they have to prove to the court that their [gun] rights should be reinstated,” said Rep. Donalds.
