Rep. Grothman to co-sponsor new bills to limit the definition of birthright citizenship

"There are bills introduced in Congress that I intend to co-sponsor which will...clarify when birthright citizenship comes into play."

Congressman Glenn Grothman claims that under the proposed framework, automatic citizenship at birth would be restricted to individuals who meet specific criteria. To qualify, a child must have at least one parent who is a legal permanent resident, a U.S. citizen, or actively serving in the United States military.
