Rep. Tom Barrett: Federal action needed to tackle soaring egg prices

Representative Tom Barrett (R-MI) says restrictive state regulations and federal policies, like the mass euthanization of hen farms due to bird flu, have exacerbated the current egg shortage. “I don’t think that eggs should be so unaffordable for families like mine across our country that we have to do everything we can within the federal authority to make sure that we drive this down,” he says.
