Rep. Troy Nehls: Justice for Jocelyn Act will crack down on detention and tracking of illegal aliens

Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX) says last week he and Texas Senator Ted Cruz reintroduced the Justice for Jocelyn Act, a bill that would require all ICE detention beds to be filled and subject any released illegal immigrants to GPS monitoring for the entire duration of their immigration proceedings. The bill was named after Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old Houston girl who was assaulted and murdered by two illegal aliens from Venezuela. Both illegal immigrants were released into the United States despite ICE detention centers having available beds.
