Russian Foreign Minister: The world is in a ‘more dangerous’ condition than during the Cold War

While chairing a United Nations Security Council meeting Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the world has reached a threshold so dangerous it rivals the era of the Cold War. Lavrov said the West’s financial economic aggression has destroyed the benefits of globalization and that the United States and its allies have abandoned diplomacy.
