Secret Service OFCL leaves after Jan. 6 testimony

An assistant director with the US Secret Service has left the agency. Tony Ornato confirmed his departure on Monday -- saying he retired after more than 25 years and will pursue work in the private sector. Ornato's departure is significant because the house select committee investigating the insurrection has made clear it believes Ornato was a central figure who could have valuable information about then-president Trump's movements and intentions leading up to and on January 6th.
