Sen. Johnson: Republicans botched their one opportunity to force Biden into shutting down the border

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) says Republicans gave up the sole leverage they had to force President Joe Biden to close the border by passing the $95 billion foreign aid bill. “It’s important to point out—Trump had the authority, he closed the border. Biden used that exact same authority, opened it up. So he has the authority. He just doesn’t have the will,” he says. “Democrats and President Biden want an open border. They caused this problem.”
