Senate passes resolution reversing Biden’s tariff waiver for Asian-made solar panels

Bipartisan Senators voted on Wednesday to repeal President Joe Biden’s suspension on tariffs for solar equipment imports from four Southeast Asian countries. Biden issued a two-year mortarium on tariffs from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia in an effort to boost solar energy implementation in America. The resolution is expected to be vetoed by Biden.
