Trump asks judge to delay rape accuser's trial amid media frenzy

Concerning his recent indictment and arraignment in Manhattan, lawyers for former President Donald J. Trump have asked a federal judge for a one-month postponement of Trump’s civil trial over allegations he raped a magazine writer in the mid-1990s. The request for the delay comes two weeks before the civil suit by the writer E. Jean Carroll was scheduled to hold trial in a Manhattan, NY federal court.
