TX AG Paxton agrees to $3 million settlement with former aides
Four former aides to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton are set to receive significant funds after Paxton agreed to a $3.3 million settlement. The whistleblowers were fired shortly after publicly accusing the attorney general of bribery and abuse of office in 2020. The settlement is a result of a lawsuit the aides filed seeking reinstatement to their former or equivalent positions.
