Victoria Coates: House GOP’s H.R. 2 would be better for border than Biden’s asylum executive order

Former Deputy National Security Advisor Victoria Coates says the Democrat-led Senate’s failed immigration bill is the basis for President Joe Biden’s executive order that will partially suspend asylum claim processing at the southern border. “He said he didn’t have any power to do it before, the Congress had to. I guess he found some extra power in one of the drawers of the Oval Office resolute desk and is going to be doing this tomorrow,” she says.
