The Washington Post announces pending layoffs
The Washington Post announced Wednesday that it will lay off about 9% of its staff. The staff reduction is expected to come in the first quarter of 2023, following the elimination of the Post's Sunday magazine on Christmas Day. Plans for the layoffs are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
