Tesla founder Elon Musk on Friday confirmed that his departure from the government would not spell the end of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The X owner and world's richest man served as a special government employee for a limited term that expired on Friday. He made the remarks during a farewell event at the White House.
