Xi Jinping tells Chinese army to prepare for war
In a visit to the Chinese military’s highest war time command center, Chinese leader Xi Jinping told the military on Tuesday to put all its energy into preparing to fight wars, state media Xinhua reported, amid rising tensions across the Taiwan Strait and growing US warnings about Beijing’s timeline in taking Taiwan by force.
