China's military is leading in developing weapons that disrupt brain functions, report

China's military is leading the way in developing tech weapons that can disrupt brain functions and influence large groups of people, according to a report by three open-source intelligence analysts.

The weapons, if fully developed, will attack or control brains by firing electromagnetic beams, according to The Washington Times. 

“Unknown to many, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have established themselves as world leaders in the development of neurostrike weapons,” according to the 12-page report that was obtained by the outlet. 

The study is titled “Enumerating, Targeting and Collapsing the Chinese Communist Party’s Neurostrike Program.”
