Security expert Coates says Biden needed to be seen supporting Israel rather than China
President Joe Biden and Xi Jinping met at the Filoli Historic House and Garden in Woodside, California on Wednesday for a high stakes meeting.
Former Deputy National Security Advisor to former President Donald Trump, Victoria Coates, says instead of giving Chinese President Xi Jinping a platform, Biden should have been showing support for Israel at the "March for Israel."
"I really think the American people needed to see the President yesterday on the mall with more than a quarter of a million people who came out to support Israel and not cozying up to China's dictator in San Francisco," Coates said on the Wednesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.

The two leaders discussed concerns about fentanyl, Israel's war on Hamas and military communications.
On Tuesday, thousands of people gathered in Washington D.C. to show support for Israel amid its war with Hamas. Lawmakers from both sides made an appearance.
Coates said that with the political environment, the U.S. should not be investing in China.
"We don't want our hedge funds and our retirement funds to be investing in Chinese companies and giving more money to China," she said. "We don't want China investing in the United States right now."
