Kate Middleton makes public appearance at King Charles' birthday parade, draws cheers from crowd
This is the first time Middleton has appeared in public since December.
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made a public appearance at a birthday parade held Saturday for her father-in-law, King Charles III.
The Prince and Princess of Wales social media account posted a video of Middleton with her three children captioned, "All set for The King's Birthday Parade!" The parade celebrating the King's birthday is also known as Trooping the Color.
Video footage shows her with other members of the Royal Family at the parade. She drew in cheers as she made her first public appearance since December.
Middleton announced earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with cancer and started "preventative chemotherapy."
She underwent major abdominal surgery in January.
"I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty," the princess wrote on X Friday. "Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal."
