Prince Harry and Meghan involved in 'near catastrophic car chase,' spokesperson said
Multiple near collisions with pedestrians, police officers and other vehicles almost occurred, the spokesperson said.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, and her mother were in a "near catastrophic car chase" with paparazzi in New York, a spokesperson for the couple said.
The "relentless pursuit" lasted more than two hours on Tuesday, the spokesperson said, according to the BBC.
Multiple near collisions with pedestrians, police officers and other vehicles almost occurred, the spokesperson also said.
"While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety."
