Two adults and one infant killed by falling tree during Easter egg hunt

Around 50 people from a facility for new mothers, pregnant women and children were attending the event.

A 10-month-old girl was among three people killed by a 100-foot tree that fell upon them during an Easter egg hunt in northern Germany on Sunday. 

The event was held in the town of Satrupholm. The accident occurred at about 11 a.m., according to CBS News, which cited police reports. High winds pushed the tree over, pinning four people. 

First responders treated a 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl at the scene, but they succumbed to their injuries. The woman's infant later died at the hospital. 

Around 50 people from a nearby facility for new mothers, pregnant women and children attended the event.
