Hamas on Sunday released 14 Israeli citizens as part of a deal with Israel, including a 4-year-old U.S. citizen who was orphaned by Hamas on Oct. 7.

In addition to the 14 Israeli citizens, Hamas also released three foreign nationals, the Israel Defense Forces said, citing the International Red Cross.

Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy listed U.S. citizen Abigail Mor Idan among those who were released Sunday.

Abigail was kidnapped on Oct. 7 from the kibbutz of Kfar Aza after terrorists murdered her parents. Her two siblings survived and are currently staying with family in Israel. Abigail's great aunt, Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, is a major Democratic donor known for buying Hunter Biden's artwork.

With 10 American hostages in captivity in Gaza, U.S. national security advisor Jake Sullivan said on ABC News' "This Week" that three of them qualify for release under the current conditions, and that the U.S. has "reason to believe" that 4-year-old Abigail would be released.

Hamas is releasing 50 Israeli women and children in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinians who were convicted or suspected of terrorism.

About 1,200 people were killed on Oct. 7 and approximately 240 others were taken captive. Hamas released two U.S. citizens last month.

Hamas has separately been releasing foreign nationals, who were working in Israel when they were kidnapped on Oct. 7, as horrific videos of their treatment by terrorists have been emerging. For example, in one video viewed by Just the News, a terrorist attempted to use a blunt shovel to decapitate a dying foreign worker on Oct. 7, and in another a foreign caretaker is standing next to the elderly bed-ridden women she is taking care of as Hamas terrorists torment them both.
