Hamas said on Saturday it won't release an American-Israeli and the bodies of four other hostages unless Israel implements their ceasefire agreement.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Israel is expected to authorize further military operations in the Gaza Strip if a hostage deal isn't reached.

In the meantime, airstrikes against targets in Gaza have continued.

Edan Alexander is the last living American hostage in captivity in the Gaza Strip.
