Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Maj. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, said Tuesday Iran will not resume peace negotiations with the United States until it works to restore trust, and vowed not to let any enriched uranium leave the country.

Iran's control of its enriched uranium became a major point of contention earlier this year when it came to a ceasefire in the conflict in the Middle East, along with the country dodging a promise not to work toward obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Rezaei met with Pakistan's army chief and Field Marshal Asim Munir and claimed in the meeting that Iran would not release any enriched uranium or begin negotiations with the U.S. until it fulfills all of Iran's demands, according to Fox News.

"Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran," Rezaei said in a post on X. "There will be no negotiations until the [U.S] takes steps to build trust. That process must begin with the full fulfillment of all Iran’s conditions."

The demands include ending a U.S. blockade on its ports, lifting sanctions ‌on its oil exports and ending hostilities on all regional fronts.
