Israeli military rescues two hostages in Gaza

Both hostages are reported in good health.

The Israeli military early Monday rescued two male hostages from Hamas captivity in Gaza Strip town of Rafah.

The Israel Defense Forces said the hostages, Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Har, 70, were in good health. 

Officials said both men were kidnapped by Hamas  from the Kibbutz Nir Yizhak on Oct. 7.

There are still believed to be 134 hostages remaining in captivity.
