Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a warning to Hezbollah Saturday following its alleged attempt to assassinate him and his wife. He called it a "grave mistake."

"The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake," Netanyahu wrote in an X post Saturday. "This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing our just war against our enemies in order to secure our future. I say to Iran and its proxies in its axis of evil: Anyone who tries to harm Israel’s citizens will pay a heavy price.”

His warning was issued to Iran and the "Axis of Resistance," which includes Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. Netanyahu said Israel plans to achieve its objectives following the Oct. 7 attack that saw Hamas kill about 1,200 people in Israel, along with the rape, torture and injury to thousands more, plus taking 251 people hostage, of which about 100 are still unaccounted for.

“We will continue to eliminate the terrorists and those who dispatch them; We will bring our hostages home from Gaza; And we will return our citizens who live on our Northern border safely to their homes," Netanyahu also wrote.

"Israel is determined to achieve all our war objectives and change the security reality in our region for generations to come," he said.

His comments followed the launching of three drones fired from Lebanon towards Netanyahu’s private residence in the coastal city of Caesarea in northern Israel Saturday morning, according to Israel Defense Forces. He and his wife weren’t at that home at the time, and they hadn’t been there for several days.

One of the three drones launched from Lebanon did some minor damage to the residence, while the other two had been intercepted.

Also on Saturday, Netanyahu released a video message, stating that "we're going to win this war."

"Two days ago we took out Sinwar, the terrorist mastermind whose goons beheaded our men, raped our women and burned our babies alive," he said. "We took him out, and we're continuing to battle with Iran's other terrorist proxies,” he added. “We’re going to win this war."
