The U.S. State Department briefed Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies on Sunday about "Operation Safe Landing," an effort to evacuate 32,000 people from Israel.

The current plan is to evacuate both U.S. citizens and American allies to Athens, Greece, and Frankfort, Germany, but that may change, a senior government source told Just the News

The proposal comes as the Biden Administration said that officials are also working on helping U.S. citizens who are seeking to leave the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, which is controlled by the State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization Hamas.

The U.S. government is still searching for the 15 U.S. citizens who remain missing after the brutal Hamas terrorist attack last Saturday that claimed the lives of more than 1,400 people, including at least 29 U.S. citizens, according to "The Hill."
