Pentagon: 'U.S. military has no involvement in Israel's operations' in Lebanon

U.S. not providing intelligence support to Israel for its Lebanon operations, says Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh.

The Pentagon said on Wednesday that the U.S. military is not giving Israel intelligence support for its operations in Lebanon.

"No support," said Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh. "When it comes to Lebanon, the U.S. military has no involvement in Israel's operations."

She also said the Pentagon does not think Israel is close to putting troops on the ground in Lebanon.

Hezbollah has launched rockets at Israel and the Israeli military has been striking back against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

On Thursday, the Israeli military said it hit roughly 75 targets in Lebanon overight. The military also said that Hezbollah launched 45 rockets towards Israel from Lebanon on Thursday morning.
