Trump's Truth Social formally launching video streaming platform
"The streaming content is expected to focus on live TV including news networks, religious channels, family-friendly content including films and documentaries; and other content that has been cancelled, is at risk of cancellation, or is being suppressed on other platforms and services," the company said in the release.
The Trump Media & Technology Group Corporation, which runs the social media platform Truth Social, announced on Tuesday that it is formally launching a "new live TV streaming platform and will begin scaling up its own content delivery network," according to a news release.
The company made the announcement after "six months of testing on its Web and iOS platforms.
The formal rollout will begin with streaming of live TV to the Truth Social smartphone app followed by delivering the content through streaming apps for home TV.
