At least four killed in Russian attack on Ukrainian city of Kharkiv

Kharkiv’s regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said that two children were among those injured: a baby and a 14-year-old girl.

At least four people are dead and dozens more injured in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv after an attack by Russia on Saturday, according to officials. 

Kharkiv’s mayor said Russia dropped aerial bombs on the city center, resulting in multiple people being wounded, according to The Associated Press.

Kharkiv’s regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said that two children were among those injured: a baby and a 14-year-old girl. 

Kharkiv’s Kyiv district reportedly has six individuals trapped under the rubble of an industrial facility.

Ukraine conducted a drone strike against Russia last weekend. When President Donald Trump spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin, he said Russia had to respond to the attack.

Russia and Ukraine have been at war since 2022. Trump has been attempting to negotiate peace talks with Russian and Ukrainian leaders to bring the war to an end.
