Russian strike kills more than 40 people and wounds 180 others in central Ukraine: Zelenskyy

More than 40 people have been killed and 180 others wounded in Poltava, Ukraine after two Russian ballistic missiles struck a military training facility and hospital, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday.
Poltava is situated on the main highway and rail route between Kyiv and Kharkiv, the second-largest city in the country, which is near the Russian border.
According to the Associated Press, the strike appeared to be the deadliest in Ukraine since the start of the war on Feb. 24, 2022.
