Audience of Historically Black College students hesitate to applaud Harris: Fox News personalities
'The audience had to be reminded to clap for the vice president,' Sean Hannity said.
An audience of more than 40 Historically Black College and University students at the White House were hesitant to applaud Vice President Kamala Harris during an event, Fox News Channel personalities say.
During a Thursday segment of "Hannity," host Sean Hannity and other Fox news personalities Jimmy Failla, Dagen McDowell and Sean Duffy described the event as "another blunder-filled day" for Harris.
"The audience had to be reminded to clap for the vice president," Hannity said. "You really can't make this up."
"They still didn't clap, then it got worse with yet another rant about Venn diagrams," he continued.
Hannity was referring to a March 2022 event in which the vice president seemed to ramble about the importance of Venn diagrams, at an event in St. Landry Parish, La.
McDowell observed that Harris didn't seem to be too deterred this week by the audience not clapping for her.
"She wasn't really that upset about the students clapping for her. She walked in there feeling saucy and sassy and vivacious and alive because she's not Pete Buttigieg," she said.
Said Hannity: "I don't know what she likes better: Venn diagrams or giggling."
