Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., said that on Thursday both of her daughters' houses were "swatted," or targeted by fake emergency calls.

"Both my daughter’s houses just got swatted today," Greene wrote on the social media platform, X. "Big thanks to the police who responded! We appreciate you and support you! Whoever is doing this, you are going to get caught and it won’t be funny to you anymore."

She went on to tag the FBI.

On Christmas Day, the Georgia congresswoman reported that her home was swatted with a fake emergency call. Greene’s home has been swatted more than a half dozen times since summer 2022.

“I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this,” she wrote on the X

She wrote in a separate post that these incidents aren't just happening to her, but other elected officials and their families as well.

"Swatting calls are coming in on many Members of Congress, Senators, State Reps and Mayors and Lt Governors, and many members of our families," Greene stated. "Is our government under attack? Swatting calls are also police harassment and an attack on police. We need to stop this now."
