Congressman Pascrell, second-oldest House member, out of hospital after almost one month
Pascrell had checked himself into the hospital with a fever on July 14.
New Jersey Democratic Rep. Bill Pascrell, 87, has been discharged from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after almost one month, his office revealed on Wednesday.
“He is grateful to the doctors and nurses who have provided him outstanding care and he will continue with rehab as part of his recovery," said Pascrell's chief of staff Ben Rich said in a statement
Pascrell, the second-oldest member of the House of Representatives, had checked himself into the hospital with a fever on July 14.
If he wins re-election, he will be the oldest sitting member of the House in the next session of Congress.
