Dianne Feinstein hospitalized after fall in San Francisco
Feinstein, who is the oldest member of Congress, was out of the Senate for nearly three months earlier this year.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein was hospitalized after falling in her San Francisco home, a spokesperson for the California Democrat confirmed Wednesday.
"Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home. All of her scans were clear and she returned home," a spokesperson for Feinstein said, Fox News reported.
Feinstein, who is the oldest member of Congress at the age of 90, was hospitalized earlier this year for shingles. She was out of the Senate for nearly three months.
She has faced questions about her mental fitness after she said in May that she had not been gone from the Senate. Last month, she appeared confused in a hearing and was told how to vote.
Feinstein's office did not respond to requests for comment.
