The Manhattan district attorney’s office is investigating the sexual assault allegations made against Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., a candidate for governor.

The San Francisco Chronicle and CNN reported on women who made sexual misconduct allegations against Swalwell.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney’s office on Saturday encouraged “survivors and anyone with knowledge of these allegations” to reach out to its Special Victims Division.

“Our specially trained prosecutors, investigators, and counselors are well-equipped to help you in a trauma-informed, survivor-centered manner,” the office said, according to The New York Times.
