Trump expresses support for Johnson ahead of internal House GOP leadership election

President-elect Donald Trump expressed supportive of for House Speaker Mike Johnson during his speech at a closed-door meeting with the House GOP Wednesday morning ahead of the party’s leadership vote.

Trump said he is “with him all the way,’” according to reports citing people inside the room.

The House GOP leadership election is taking place on Wednesday.
