Trump responds: ‘Pelosi is a sick woman,’ she has ‘a lot of mental problems’

A day after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to President Trump as “morbidly obese,” Trump said Tuesday that Pelosi has “a lot of mental problems.”
Trump made the comments while addressing the media after appearing at a luncheon with Republican senators on Capitol Hill.
“Pelosi is a sick woman. She’s got a lot of problems – a lot of mental problems," Trump said.
The speaker called Trump "morbidly obese" during an interview Monday evening on CNN, in response to Trump announcing that he's taking hydroxychloroquine, an FDA-approved drug used for malaria and other illness that has emergency-agency approval for treating the coronavirus. Pelosi was suggesting the president's weight puts him at risk for using the drug.
“He’s our president, and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and his, shall we say, weight group," she said, "morbidly obese, they say.”
Trump while on Capitol Hill reportedly discussed the possibility of a fourth coronavirus relief package during the luncheon with GOP senators. Following the meeting, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that Senate Republicans are going to wait until the $2.2 trillion CARES Act is fully implemented before working on another stimulus package.
