Congressman Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said that special prosecutor Nathan Wade and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis both need to be disbarred for alleged misconduct in the election case involving former President Donald Trump.

"Not only should she be removed from this case, both of them, they both should probably be disbarred," Biggs said on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast, agreeing that it is a very likely possibility.

Willis last year indicted Trump, now a 2024 GOP presidential candidate, and 18 co-defendants over their efforts to challenge the 2020 election results in Georgia.

Almost two months ago, one of Trump's co-defendants accused Willis of having an “improper, clandestine personal relationship” with Wade whom she hired to be the lead prosecutor in the Trump interference case. Willis also has also been accused by a former staffer of misusing federal funds.

"I find it absolutely disgusting," Biggs said regarding the alleged misconduct. "I'm stunned, frankly, that there is a moral vacuity there where she and Mr. Wade ... are so out of touch with the moral and ethical values of a prosecutor of law."

He said that for Wade and Willis to think their alleged relationship would have no impact on their handling of the Trump case is "absolutely stunning."
