A federal jury in Texas on Monday found only one person liable for their role in the "Trump Train" highway confrontation with a Biden-Harris campaign bus during the 2020 election cycle.
The jury said five of the six supporters of former President Donald Trump who were sued over the confrontation were not responsible for the incident, while one person whose car brushed up against the bus was found liable and ordered to pay $10,000 to the bus driver and another $30,000 in punitive damages, according to the Associated Press.
The two-week trial began earlier this month, and the case was brought by former Texas state senator and Democratic nominee for governor Wendy Davis, a campaign volunteer, a staffer, and the bus driver. Davis was on the bus at the time of the incident, along with the volunteer and staffer.

The lawsuit focused on whether the actions of the Trump supporters equaled political intimidation, but no criminal charges were filed.
Both sides of the case claimed victory in the verdict on Monday, with prosecutors claiming they felt justice was served even if they disagreed with the majority of the ruling.
“When I came to this case it was never about politics that day. I’m grateful, I’m proud of my team,” bus driver Tim Holloway said.
One of the defendants, Joeylynn Mesaros, said she and the other people who were accused were "ready to feel like normal people again."
An attorney for Eliazar Cisneros, who was found liable, said they would appeal the verdict.
