Florida tourism board to file counter-suit against Disney in response to DeSantis lawsuit

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, backed by Gov. Ron DeSantis, on Monday said it is filing a counter lawsuit against Disney in response to the entertainment giant's lawsuit against the Republican governor.

"Disney sued us, we have no choice now but to respond," oversight board chair Martin Garcia said, Politico reported. "The district will seek justice in state court here in central Florida where both it and Disney reside and do business."

The group plans to file the lawsuit later on Monday.
