Scott Peterson sentenced to life in prison for 2002 murder of wife, unborn child

Scott Peterson on Wednesday was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, per sentencing guidelines in the state of California, for the murders of his wife and unborn child.

Peterson has been in prison limbo since August 2020 when the California Supreme Court reversed his death sentence for the murders, for which he was convicted in 2004, according to CNN.
