The Supreme Court on Monday declined to block a New York law forcing all state healthcare workers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, without allowing for religious exemptions.

The healthcare employees claimed in their lawsuit that the state's mandate violated their religious freedoms, according to Axios.

Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch dissented. The three conservative judges would have provided injunctive relief to the petitioners.
