“Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country,” former president says.

Former President Donald Trump vowed Saturday to wage an historic crackdown on election cheating if voters return him to the White House, including seeking to expand the 25th Amendment to punish a vice president who conceals from Americans an incapacitated president.

During a speech in Mosinee, Wis., Trump sought to subtly tie Joe Biden’s perceived mental deterioration to an alleged coverup by Vice President Kamala Harris, who succeeded him on the Democrat ticket.

Trump declared he supports altering the 25th Amendment to permit the ouster of a vice president who “lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States.”

“If you do that with a coverup of the president of the United States, it’s grounds for impeachment immediately and removal from office, because that’s what they did,” the former president said.

And in a separate post on his TruthSocial platform, Trump stated that he was “watching the Sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely.

“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again. We cannot let our Country further devolve into a Third World Nation, AND WE WON’T,” he said.

Trump said such “legal exposure” would extend to “Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials.

“Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country,” he added.
