Federal agencies investigating claims Swalwell paid nanny who lacked work authorization

The Department of Labor and The Department of Homeland Security are investigating the allegations

Two federal departments are reportedly investigating claims that Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., paid a live-in nanny with campaign funds while she did not have work authorization.

The Department of Labor is investigating whether Swalwell and his Brittany Swalwell paid the nanny, Amanda Barbosa, who was not authorized to work in the country, according to The New York Post.

The Department of Homeland Security is also reportedly investigating the matter. 

Swalwell is also facing allegations of sexual assault from multiple women.
