Hiding Epstein client list shows Justice Department's selective 'leaking,' Musk says

The Justice Department, which allegedly leaked details of its probe into investigative journalist James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas, is unusually quiet about a far more important investigation, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Saturday.

The billionaire tweeted a meme of "Things I'll never see in my life" that included mythical creatures, a dinosaur and "The Epstein/Maxwell client list," referring to presumably high-profile clients of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died under mysterious circumstances in jail, and Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking a minor and arranging his illicit activities with underaged women.

"Only thing more remarkable than DOJ not leaking the list is that no one in the media cares. Doesn’t that seem odd?" Musk wrote, implying that calling attention to the agency's selective leaking would make him a bigger target for investigation: "Sometimes I think my list of enemies is too short, so … [sic]."

Reminded of a photo of him with Maxwell at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Musk responded that she "photobomb[ed]" him. "The same people who push this photo say nothing about prominent people who actually went to his island a dozen times. Also very strange … [sic]."

The jab at DOJ followed a string of political tweets for Musk, formally endorsing Republican-turned-Democrat Rick Caruso for mayor of Los Angeles for his "[e]xecutive competence" and sharing an image and quote by Sex Pistols vocalist John Lydon that mocked the political left for "becoming the sniveling self-righteous twatty ones going around shaming everyone."
